Sanders offers a comprehensive service package ranging from general canvas & cover repairs to full overhauls, canvas upgrades and modifications. A professional sail & canvas laundry service is also provided to keep your covers & canvas items in tip-top condition.
Cover Repairs
We can undertake a wide range of repairs to assist with the lifespan of your covers. We can work on any make of cover and have a broad range of materials and colours on offer, to ensure a match as close as possible can be achieved, when undertaking a patch or panel replacement.

Washing
Regular washing & re-proofing is an essential part of both sail and canvas care. Salt, dirt, mildew, and UV exposure all contribute to premature wear and unsightly staining. At Sanders, we work with a dedicated, long-established sail laundry specialist to ensure your covers are cleaned thoroughly and safely. Using proven methods and carefully selected cleaning products, they treat common issues such as:
- General dirt and soiling
- Salt build-up
- Mildew and algae
- Rust or water staining
Covers and canvas items can be dropped off directly at the Sanders Sail Loft, and we will handle all the arrangements for professional laundering and return.
Laundry Pricing
Sail / Canvas ‘General’ Wash & Dry – £5.80 per kilo + VAT
Sail / Canvas ‘Intense’ MDR Wash & Dry – £11.50 per kilo + VAT
Canvas Re-Proofing – £8.00 per m² + VAT
(5 kilo minimum charge)
