Sanders Spinnaker Cushion

Sanders are delighted to have collaborated with Natasha Rowland Designs who is designing and producing a unique collection of cushions lovingly made from ‘once loved’ spinnakers.  Natasha works out of her studio in the heart of Lymington and is well known for creating stunning soft furnishings.

Sanders love the story that many of the sails and spinnakers which are dropped off at our ‘Up-Cycling Sail Drop-Off’ area are now being repurposed and heading off to a new home to be loved again.  Why not drop off a sail and purchase an up-cycled cushion!

Each cushion is bespoke and is made from re-cycled spinnaker cloth and carefully cotton lined.  We can’t guarantee the integrity of each cushion, but can guarantee they will be made with care and attention.  The re-cycled sail cloth might have the odd teeny tiny mark on it, which we feel adds to the character of the item.  No two cushions will be the same!  So, cushions can vary in style and might be slightly different to the image.  We will do our best to make sure the images are a close match / exact match.

Size & Product Info

The size for each cushion is 60cm x 60cm. 

These stylish cushions are made from ‘Pre-Loved’ Spinnaker cloth, so are water-resistant to a light splash.  (Like spinnakers they won’t like being dragged through the water!)

All cushions come with a fibre filled, polypropylene lined insert which meets Fire Regulation Standards. 

A concealed plastic zip is on the back of the cushion which enables the insert to be removed – if required.

Washing – we would only advise gently wiping the outside of the cushion with a lightly damp sponge.

Lead Time – if we do not have any cushions in stock, our lead time is 3 weeks.  This is due to making sure we have re-cycled spinnaker cloth available!

Returns – due to these items being one-offs we sadly cannot accept returns.
