Furling Mainsails
In-Mast Furling (IMF)
In-mast furling mainsails offer the ultimate in convenience. We carefully design our IMF mains to suit the tight mast section gaps and hardware configurations, with options including:
- No roach mainsails – smooth furling, no battens, specialist patch configurations.
- Short-batten mainsails – adding shape control without compromising furling reliability.
- Full-batten mainsails – maximising power and sail shape, with carefully engineered batten pockets.
Every IMF sail can be customised with upgrades such as UV clew patches, padded clews, Dyneema leech lines, and reinforced batten holders to increase durability and longevity.
In-Boom Furling (IBF)
For yachts fitted with in-boom furling, we work directly with all major IBF manufacturers to ensure your sail matches the system perfectly. Key design considerations include:
- Specialist luff curves for smooth furling and unfurling.
- Optimised camber distribution for performance.
- Custom batten pocket design to ensure strength and reliability.
Our IBF sails combine convenience with performance, giving you a mainsail that furls effortlessly while still driving the boat forward.
