The Sanders Hawk 20 Sail Wardrobe
Sanders proudly supply sails to the Hawk 20 ‘one-design’ class, in partnership with Reid Boats.
With two distinct variants — the performance oriented dayboat and the comfortable cabin — all mainsails are built to the same high specification: two reefs, camberlines, sail number, and logo included as standard.
Jib Options
- Dayboat: longer foot and lower clew for maximum sail area and speed.
- Cabin: highercut clew to improve visibility and sheeting over the cabin roof.
Custom Options
- UV-protective strip for furling
- Multiple window configurations
- Spinnaker finishes (Superkote or Dynakote), with or without downhauls
About the Hawk 20
Designed from the early 1990s and refined through sea trials, the Hawk 20—whether Dayboat or Cabin—delivers exhilarating performance, stiffness, and safety. It planes at speeds exceeding 12 knots, yet remains stable and self-righting in strong winds. Built to be dry, self-draining, and easy to trailer and launch, it features a robust centreboard, sealed buoyancy, and a built in outboard motor well.
